We build the quality in by double-checking CAD data, performing first piece inspection against a full-size template provided by the customer, and random sampling throughout production. Our measuring devices are calibrated every day; our CNC equipment is calibrated weekly to a tolerance of ±1/32".

ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY

We have streamlined our operations with the most modern facilities and equipment in our industry. Consolidated Glass utilizes CNC cutting and edging equipment for efficient fabrication. CAD to CNC programming capability enhances precision and through-put. The recent installation of our new horizontal tempering line reduces production time and ensures quality results. We produce our Diamond Tempered™ glass in sizes up to 86" x 180" and standard glass thicknesses from 1/8" (3mm) to 3/4" (19mm). Continuous quality checks are made possible by detailed temperature profile data displayed on the Operator Interface Terminal. Tempering programs are stored electronically, and are easily retrieved to ensure consistent results over repeat orders. Customers can provide glass for tempering, or use our sourcing service to find the appropriate glass for their application.
